Our breakfast with local products
A fundamental part of your stay at Dimidium is breakfast, not only because of the place where it is served and the small attentions we have to make this moment really special, but also because of the products we choose to offer.
You will always find a homemade cake made by Valentina: simple, but delicious. If you were to visit us at the end of the summer, you might also find our jams, the fig jam and the quince jam, picked from the trees in our garden. During the rest of the year, we choose to serve jams made with our local products from small farms in the surrounding area. The same is with honey and puffed spelt, which you can taste with yogurt.
And of course, fresh bread and erbazzone, the savory protagonist, cannot be missed!
To be savored calmly, listening to the record player in the background that slowly accompanies you towards the beginning of a new day.
You are here to enjoy the uniqueness of time. And that is perhaps the most beautiful part of the day!
DETAILS AND UNIQUENESS
The second life of our furniture
A very important aspect of Dimidium is its details: so much of what furnishes the spaces of our b&b has at least one previous life. A forgotten chair in the basement, an old cobbler’s table, a dusty armchair. We have tried to breathe life back into many small things that had been hastily forgotten. They tell something about us, about this house, about the place from which they came. After all, they are the material representation of our memories, made of moments, scents, faces, voices. To abandon them is to ignore our past and not care about it. That is why we searched for them so much before locating them, so that they would be in every way an integral part of this place, connoting it even more for what it represents: a corner of peace where time still has value and its passing does not frighten, rather it reassures.
THE BREAKFAST ROOM
The place to relax
Dimidium’s highlight is its breakfast room: what was once a stable now hosts the bar and a relaxation corner where you can find books, armchairs and vinyls.
To make your experience as sweet and relaxing as possible, you’ll also find a small relaxation corner in your room, with Dimidium’s herbal teas and a kettle all to yourself.
